A zany rich-boy-meets-hometown-girl romantic comedy, Crazy For You® tells the story of young New York banker Bobby Child, who is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre. In Deadrock, Bobby falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theatre owner’s daughter. But Polly takes an instant dislike to the city slicker, so Bobby vows – through cunning, razzmatazz, and a hilarious case of mistaken identity – to win Polly’s heart and save the theatre. -Courtesy of Concord Theatricals Website

Traveling One Act

Book by Stephen Gregg

Directed by Mr. Steeves

A one-act “Anti-Rom Com” along the lines of Taming of the Shrew.

Nick Olmstead has just lost out on a scholarship and, unrelatedly, has decided to lie in his bed and never move again for the rest of his life, in order to stave off the inevitable heat death of the universe.

Jackie Walker, the winner of the scholarship, has come to his room to rub it in his face

And Stacey Howard, Nick’s crush, thinks they’re both completely strange

Sally has a dream about being the main character of her favorite books. She’s arrived at Frogbull Academy of Sorcery and makes friends with Dave and Harmonica. What should be an awesome school year gets disrupted by  the ever present threat of Lord Murderdeath and the mysterious Censor who keeps rewriting the story as we go along. This loving wizard parody will thrill fans and newcomers alike.
